Slovenia: The six First Semi-final qualifiers of EMA 2022

  • The first semi-final of the Slovenian national selection, EMA 2022, took place this evening determining the first six finalists of the national final. 

    The Ema 2022 selection is set to unwind in three evenings -  two semi finals and a final show. Eight established musicians and two winners from Ema Freš, will perform in each semi final round. The jury and televoters will determine six finalists in each semi-final. Melani Mekicar and Bojan Cvjetićanin are hosting this year's EMA shows. 

    A total of 10 acts competed in this first semi-final with three qulifiers selecte by the jury and the rest three by the public vote. The 10 contestants of the night were: 

    1. July Jones – “Girls Can Do Anything“
    2. David Amaro – “Še vedno si lepa“
    3. Le Serpentine – “Tud teb se lahk zgodi“
    4. Bowrain and Brina – “Čas je“
    5. Luma – “All In“
    6. Stela Sofia – “Tu in zdaj“
    7. Jonatan Haller – “Obzorje“
    8. Batista Cadillac – “Mim pravil“
    9. Zala Smolnikar – “V ogledalu“
    10. Manouche – “Si sama?“

    The six acts that made it to the finals are:

    • Luma

    The Slovenian national selection continues next week with the second semi-final show selecting the rest six finalists of EMA 2022.
