  • The Spanish Eurovision 2021 hopeful, Blas Cantó, has released the English version of his entry 'Voy a quedarme' titled "I'll Stay".

The Spanish representative, has a wide range of songs in English during his career, as member of the boyband Auryn and it was more than expected to see his Eurovision entry 'Voy a quedarme' taking the same way.

Through the english version of his entry, Blas, aims  European fans of the contest to understand each verse of Voy a quedarme': its meaning, its history, the feelings conveyed by the song composed by Blas Cantó along with  Leroy Sánchez, Daniel Ortega 'Dangelo'  and  Dan Hammond.

"I would like people to understand the lyrics in the largest possible places ," said the Murcian artist during the recording of the song to a team from RTVE Digital.

"I'll stay" is an  intimate acoustic production , with which the interpreter returns to the origins  of his proposal for the contest. Blas says:

"We are going to take the song to where it was born. It is a little longer. There are moments that we eliminate and that now we rescue for this version. I think it is a good moment to remember how it all started."

Further on Blas explains the point of an English version:

"Like last year, I wanted to make the  English version  of the song. I really like this language, it  has a different sound  and, above all, I would like people to understand the lyrics in as many places as possible,"
