Sweden: Rehearsal footage of the 'Melodifestivalen 2021' Third Semi-Final acts

• Sweden’s quest for its Eurovision 2021 representative continues this Saturday with the third semi-final of “Melodifestivalen 2021”. 

  Following the snippets of the competing songs earlier today , SVT, released  the rehearsals footage of the semi final 3 acts giving us a taste of what we will see on stage in next Saturday's 3rd semi final show. 

   

  Watch 30 seconds shots of the performances we will see this Saturday at the Annexet Arena in Stockholm :

   

  1. Charlotte Perrelli – “Still Young”
  2. Emil Assergård – “Om allting skiter sig”
  3. Klara Hammarström – “Beat of Broken Hearts”
  4. Mustasch – “Contagious”
  5. Elisa – “Den du är”
  6. Alvaro Estrella – “Baila Baila”
  7. Tusse – “Voices”

  Melodifestivalen 2021 consists of 4 semi-final rounds, a “second chance semi-final” and the grand final to be held on March 13. A total of 28 acts take part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts  competing in each of the first four semi-final rounds. The first two acts of each semi-final qualify directly to the grand final while the third and fourth places go to the “second chance” semi-final.

  The second semi final will be hosted by Christer Bjorkman alongside with Jason Diakité (rapper) and will hit our screen at 20:00 CET this Saturday, February 20. This year's Melodifetivalen will unfold according to following schedule: 

  • 06/02/2021- Semifinal 1
  • 13/02/2021- Semifinal 2
  • 20/02/2021- Semifinal 3
  • 27/02/2021- Semifinal 4
  • 06/03/2021-  Second Chance  (Andra Chansen)
  • 13/03/2021-  Grand Final

  All shows will be taking place in Stockholm at Annexet Arena due to the ongoing covid-19 restrictions implemented in the country.
