Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2022 Third Semi-final results

  • Melodifetivalen 2022 continued this evening with the third semi-final of the Swedish national selection,  determining  two more finalists and  two spots in the 5th semi final (second chance). 

    The show took place at in Stockholm, at Avicii Arena and was hosted by Oscar Zia. “Melodifestivalen 2022” consists of 5 semi-final rounds and the grand final to be held on March 12. A total of 28 acts is taking part in this year’s edition, with first set of 7 acts competed in this evening's first semi-final. 

    The show also featured Johanna Nordström. 26 yo old Johanna was successful in "Masked singer" last year, where she behind a dragon mask impressed with her singing voice. In addition Oscar performed on stage his past Melfest song 'Human".

     

    The performances

    In this third heat at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm we saw the following 7 acts: 

     

    1.Cazzi Opeia – I Can´t Get Enough 

     

    2.Lancelot – Lyckligt slut 

     

    3.Lisa Miskovsky – Best to Come  

     

    4.Tribe Friday – Shut Me Up

     

    5.Faith Kakembo – Freedom 

     

    6.Linda Bengtzing – Fyrfaldigt hurra!

     

    7.Anders Bagge – Bigger Than The Universe 

     

    The Results

     The two acts that made it to the Grand final directly are: 

     

    1.Faith Kakembo – Freedom 

    2.Anders Bagge – Bigger Than The Universe 

     

    The two acts that qualified to the 5th semi-final where they will have a second chance to compete for a spot in the final are:

    1.Cazzi Opeia – I Can´t Get Enough 

    2.Lisa Miskovsky – Best to Come  

     

    Melodifestivalen 2022 continues next Saturday with one more set of 7 acts competing in the 4th semi final show.
