  • The Melodifestivalen 2023 Grand final line-up was competed tonight with the Semi-final heat that determined the last four finalists. 

    This year's edition of Melodifestivalen kicked off on February 4 with the first round continued with the second,third and fourth heat the previous three weeks and came back this evening with the Semi-final live from Örnsköldsvik .

    A total of 8 acts took the stage and competed for the last four spots that lead to the final. These 8 acts had finished thrid and fourth in their respective heats and now had a second chanc eto continue their Melfest journey.  Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl  hosted this evening's show.

     

    Namely the 8  contestants of this evening show were: 

     

    THEOZ – Mer av dig” 

     

    Mariette – One Day”

     

    Victor Crone  “Diamonds”

     

    Tennessee Tears – Now I Know”

     

    Elov & Beny – Raggen går” 

     

    Melanie Wehbe – For The Show”

     

    Nordman – Släpp alla sorger” 

    Kiana – Where Did You Go”

     

    The results

    Unlike previous editions, this year the format of the semi-final changes as all eight contestants competed against each other and the top four artistst that received the most votes won the last four tickets to the Melfest Grand final next week. 

    Here are the 12 point results according to the age-groups voting: 

    3-9 years old 12 points: THEOZ

    10-15 years old 12 points:  Kiana

    16-29 years old 12 points: THEOZ

    30-44 years old 12 points: THEOZ

    45-59 years old 12 points: Nordman

    60-74 years old 12 points: Mariette

    75+ years old 12 points:  Mariette

    Televoting 12 points: Nordman

     

    The Four Qualifiers

    Eventually the acts who won the last four tickets to the final are: 

    1. THEOZ – Mer av dig” 
    2.  Mariette – One Day”
    3. Nordman – Släpp alla sorger” 
    4.  Kiana – Where Did You Go”

     

    They will be joining in next Saturday's grand final the other 8 finalists that had directly qualified from the previous four heats.
