Tusse's Melodifestivalen rehearsal of his entry "Voices" will be used as Sweden's back up performance for Rotterdam.
Sweden Head of Delegation, Christer Björkman , has revealed that the country will be using Tusse's Melodifestivalen rehearsal of "Voices" as the back up performance for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.
Just a week ago Tusse triumphed at the Melodifestivalen 2021 achieving a landslide victory with his song "Voices". According to EBU's plans for this year's contest, the 40 countries should make a pre recorded live on-tape performance of their entries that they must submit by late March in order to guarantee their participation in case the delegation is unable to travel to Rotterdam due to restrictions or a quarantine in their countries.
Thus, in case the Swedish act is unable to attend the event due to covid-19 restrictions the taped Melfest reharsal that took place on March 12, just before the final show in the Annexet Arena will be the one used as the entry's live on tape performance.
Progressively all delegations are preparing their back up performances by filming them either on home soil or abroad in order to hand them in by the end of March.
Let remember Tusse's Melfest performance of "Voices" that led him to victory:
