Sweden: Rehearsal footage of the “Melodifestivalen 2021” Second Semi-Final acts

• Sweden’s quest for its Eurovision 2021 representative continues this Saturday with the second semi-final of “Melodifestivalen 2021”. 

   

  Following the snippets of the competing songs , SVT, released  the rehearsals footage of  the semi final 2 acts giving us a taste of what we will see on stage in the second semi final show. 

   

  Watch 30 seconds shots of the performances we will see this Saturday at the Annexet Arena in Stockholm :

   

  • Anton Ewald – “New Religion”
  • Julia Alfrida – “Rich”
  • WAHL feat. SAMI – “90-talet”
  • Frida Green – “The Silence”
  • Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos – “Rena rama ding dong”
  • Patrik Jean – “Tears Run Dry”
  • Dotter – “Little Tot”

   

  Melodifestivalen 2021 consists of 4 semi-final rounds, a “second chance semi-final” and the grand final to be held on March 13. A total of 28 acts take part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts  competing in each of the first four semi-final rounds. The first two acts of each semi-final qualify directly to the grand final while the third and fourth places go to the “second chance” semi-final.

  The second semi final will be hosted by Christer Bjorkman alongside with Oscar Zia & Anis Don Demina (both former Melfest participants).This year's Melodifetivalen will unfold according to following schedule: 

  • 06/02/2021- Semifinal 1
  • 13/02/2021- Semifinal 2
  • 20/02/2021- Semifinal 3
  • 27/02/2021- Semifinal 4
  • 06/03/2021-  Second Chance  (Andra Chansen)
  • 13/03/2021-  Grand Final

  All shows will be taking place in Stockholm at Annexet Arena due to the ongoing covid-19 restrictions implemented in the country.
