Sweden: The duels of the Melodifestivalen 2021 Second Chance semi final

  • The Swedish broadcaster, SVT, released after this evening's fourth semi final the duels of next Saturday's  Second Chance round. 

    Once the 4th semi final was completed, the Second Chance semi final’s line up was completed . A total of 8 contestants will be having a second chance to qualify to the final show that is set to take place on March 6 in Stockholm. 

    The 2nd chance semi final will take place next Saturday  and the 8 acts will compete in duels . The winner of each duel will qualify to the final, determining the last 4 spots of the final.

    Thus the 8 contestants will perform in the 2nd chance semi final heat in the following Duels: 

     

    Duel 1

    Alvaro Estrella - "Baila Baila"  VS   Lillasyster – “Pretender”

     

    Duel 2 

    Frida Green – “The Silence”  VS  Paul Rey – “The Missing Piece” 

     

    Duel 3 

    Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos – “Rena rama ding dong”  VS  Clara Klingenström – “Behöver inte dig idag”

     

    Duel 4

    Klara Hammarström – “Beat of Broken Hearts”   VS  Efraim Leo – “Best of Me”

     

    The four winners of these duels will join the rest 8 acts that had qualified directly to the final in the previous four semi final rounds. These are: 

    1st semi final qualifiers: Danny Saucedo and Arvingarna

    2nd semi final qualifiers: Dotter and Anton Ewald

    3rd semi final qualifiers: Charlotte Perrelli and Tusse

    4th semi final qualifiers: Eric Saade and The Mamas

    The Second chance heat is set for next Saturday at 20:00 CET on SVT and will take place in Stockholm.
