Switzerland: Angélique Beldner the Eurovision 2021 Spokesperson

  • The Swiss national broadcaster, SRF, have revealed that Angélique Beldner will be presenting the Swiss jury results in the Grand final show on May 22, 2021 in Rotterdam. 

    SRF have unveiled the Swiss spokesperson for Eurovision 2021, with Angélique Beldner being the person to reveal how the Swiss jury voted in the Grand final show. 

    Angélique Beldner  is a Swiss radio and television journalist and presenter .

    Beldner did an apprenticeship as a typographer. She then attended drama school and from 1999 worked at Radio Förderband in Bern. From 2002 to 2004 she worked for SRF Virus . After a stay abroad and a job in the communications industry, she became editor-in-chief at Radio Canal 3 in Biel in 2006 In 2008 she switched to Radio SRF , where she worked as an editor and presenter. She has been working for SRF television since 2015, where she moderates the noon and evening edition of the Tagesschau .

    Since January 2020 she has moderated the quiz program 1 against 100 , replacing Susanne Kunz as the presenter.

    Up to date the following spokespersons have been confirmed by the broadcasters:

    • Cyprus – Louis Patsalides
    • Denmark –  Tina Müller
    • France – Carla
    • Sweden – Carola
    • United Kingdom – Amanda Holden

    Switzerland this year is represented by Gjon's Tears who will be perfroming the song “Tout l’univers” 16th in the second semi final on May 20, 2021.
