Tonight: Finland decides its Eurovision 2023 entry

The Finnish national final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) 2023 is taking place tonight in order to determine the nation's Eurovision 2023 act and entry for Liverpool.
As last year the show will take place at Logomo arena in Turku after for the third time in general and will be hosted by Samu Haber. The national final is set to be broadcast on T.V, radio and online on Yle Areena featuring a commentary in the impressive number of eight languages, with Ukrainian and sign language making their debut in the commentary section. Last year's winners of UMK The Rasmus, BESS and Samu Haber will perform as part of UMK 2023 as well.
A total of seven acts will take the stage and compete for the right to represent Finland at Eurovision 2023. The 7 contestants will appear in the following order:
- Robin Packalen – “Girls Like You“
- KUUMMA – “Ylivoimainen” (Overpowered)
- Käärijä – “Cha Cha Cha“
- Keira – “No Business on the Dancefloor“
- Benjamin – “Hoida mut” (Take care of me)
- Lxandra – “Something to Lose“
- Portion Boys – “Samaa taivasta katsotaan” (We look at the same sky)
The results will be determined by international juries (25%) and public voting (75%). The countries that will be available to vote are:
- Australia
- Germany
- Poland
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
- Ukraine
