TONIGHT: Pabandom iš naujo! 2022 commences in Lithuania with Heat One

• The Lithuanian national selection for Eurovision 2022 kicks off this evening with the first set of 11 acts taking the stage for Heat One of Pabandom iš naujo! 2022.

  Pabandom iš naujo 2022 will consist of six shows. Three qualifying rounds, two semifinals and one Grand final show. This evening 11 acts out of a total of 36 candidates will compete in the first heat of the national selection. 

  The 11 contestants will compete for six qualifying spots that lead to the semifinals. The outcome will be determined by a combination of jury and public voting, with the names of the jurors not revealed ahead of the show for the first time and the jury voting will be announced at the end of the show in order not to influence the public voting. 

  The 11 acts that will take the stage in the following running order are:  

  1. Elonas Pokanevič – Someday
  2. Joseph June – Deadly
  3. Urtė Šilagalytė – Running Chords
  4. Gabrielė Goštautaitė – Over
  5. Mary Mo – Get Up
  6. Augustė Vedrickaitė – Before You`re 6 ft Under
  7. Sun Francisco – Dream Again
  8. Voldemars Petersons & the Break Hearters – Up
  9. Aldegunda – Holiday
  10. Viktorija Faith – Walk Through the Water
  11. Erica Jennings – Back To Myself

   

  Among the contestants we see the former Estonian ESC 2001 representative,  Erica Jennings. The show will host the trio  Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė, Giedrius Masalskis and Richardas Jonaitis. Giedrius  is not stranger to the audience as he had presented the preevious national selections while Ieva wil host for a second successive year.
