Tonight: Sanremo Festival 2022 continues with the third night's show

  • Sanremo Festival 2022 continues this evening with the third show and the 25 participants taking the stage once again at Teatro Ariston.

    Following the first night's show and second show's results , tonight Sanremo festival moves on to its third night during which the 25 competing acts will take the stage for one more performance of their songs. 

     

    The 2022 edition

    Twenty-five artists will compete in the 72nd edition of Sanremo with twenty-five unpublished songs and a renewed voting mechanism with three independent juries for accredited journalists in the first two evenings (print, Radio and TV, Web) and the debut of the “Demoscopic 1000” jury, that will determine along with televoting the final outcome. 

    Out of the 25 contestants, 22 have been invited by the artistic director, Amadeus, whilst the last 3 have came out of the Sanremo Giovani festival. From Tuesday 1 February live on Rai1, RaiPlay and Radio2 - the festival will unfold without any eliminations reaching the final night on February 5, during which the winner will be declared. 

    In addition, the special evening of the Covers returns on Friday 4 February, during which the artists will perform - alone or with a guest agreed with Rai and with the Artistic Direction - a piece that can be taken not only from the Italian repertoire, but also from the international one of the 60 ', 70' or 80 '.

     

    Third night's show

    Sanremo Festival 2022 is set to unfold over five nights from February 1 to February 5, 2022. For each show Amadeus will have on his side one more act to co-host the show. Tonight he will he conducting the show alongside with  Drusilla Foer while his good friend Fiorello will be accompanying hm on stage.  In addition  Roberto Saviano, one of Italy's well known writers and journalists will feature the show as guest star of the evening.

    The 25 acts that will take the stage tonight along with their respective songs are:

    11. Dargen D’Amico - “Dove si balla”
    12. Giusy Ferreri - “Miele”
    13. Sangiovanni - Farfalle
    14. Giovanni Truppi - Tuo padre, mia madre, Lucia
    15. Le Vibrazioni - Tantissimo
    16. Emma - Ogni volta e cosi

    The Results

    In this third evening the 25 artists will perform their songs in the competition voted this time by the public through televoting and by the 1000 member demoscopic Jury, which will both have a 50% weight on the overall result.The average between the overall voting percentages obtained by artists in this evening's voting  and those obtained in the previous evenings will be taking all into account in order to determine a new ranking for the 25 entries at the end of the night.
