Tonight: Söngvakeppnin 2023 Final to determine Iceland's Eurovision 2023 representative

The Icelandic national selection for Eurovision 2023 is concluding this evening with the final show of Söngvakeppnin 2023.
A special committee shorlisted 10 entries out of 132 songs that are competing in the national selection, which consists of two semifinals and one grand final show. Five acts competed in the previous first and second semi final heats with the public voting to determine two qualifiers from each semi final anda a wildcard pass awarded to one contestant.
Tonight the selection concludes with five contestants set to take the stage during the grand final show which will be hosted by the musician Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson, tv presenter Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir plus radio producer and music director of RÚV's Channel 2 Sigurður Þorri Gunnarsson.
The five acts to take the stage this evening are:
- Sigga Ózk – Gleyma þér og dansa
- Bragi – Stundum snýst heimurinn gegn þér
- Celebs – Dómsdagsdans
- Diljá – Lifandi inni í mér
- Langi Seli og Skuggarnir – OK
The Result
During today's grand final the result will come out through two rounds of voting. In the first round the combined public and jury voting will decide which two songs will advance to a Super Final round. In the Superfinal round , the Icelandic public exclusively will determine the final winner and next Eurovision representative.
