TONIGHT: The Estonian national selection continues with the 2nd quarterfinal of Eesti Laul 2022

  • The Estonian national selection for Eurovision 2022, continues tonight with the second quarter final of Eesti Laul 2022, the show that will determine the nation's hopeful for Turin. 

    Following last Saturday's first quarter final the 2nd quarter show  out of the four in total  is taking place this evening continuing Estonia's search for the next Eurovision representative. 

    A total of 10 entries will compete in this evening's show and will battle for five qualifying spots that lead to the semi finals.

    The acts and songs of tonight's quater final are:

    Quite remarkable how the 2nd quarterfinal sees no entries in English but all competing songs are exclusively in Estonian. 

     

    The hosts

    Eesti Laul 2022 2nd qf hosts

    Along with the participant of the second quarterfinal ERR revealed the hosts of the show. Two former Eurovision representative will present us the 2nd quarterfinal: Uku Suviste and Tanja Mihhailova-Saar.

    Uku represented the country this year in Rotterdam with the song "The Lucky One" which failed to qualify to the final. Uku was the Estonian act for Eurovision 2020 which was eventually cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic. Tanja was the country's hopeful at Eurovision 2014 with the song "Amazing" who despite her energetic performance didn't make it to the Grand final.
