Tonight: Watch the Finnish national final of UMK 2022 take place

The Finnish national final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) 2022 is taking place this evening in order to determine the nation's Eurovision 2022 act and entry for Turin.
UMK returns to Logomo arena in Turku after a two year break, as the show was hosted in the Mediapolis Studios in Tampere the last two editions. The national final is set to be broadcast on T.V, radio and online on Yle Areena featuring a commentary in the impressive number of six languages, with Sámi languages make their debut in the commentary section.
The commentators of this evening's show are:
- Mikko Silvennoinen (Finnish)
- Johan Lindroos and Eva Frantz (Swedish)
- Katri Norrlin and Jani Kareinen (English)
- Margit Alasalmi and Pertti Seppä (Plain-language Finnish)
- Levosti Tvaltvadze (Russian)
- Linda Tammela (Northern Sámi)
- Heli Huovinen (Inari Sámi)
A total of seven acts will take the stage and compete for the right to represent Finland at Eurovision 2022. The 7 contestants will appear in the following order:
- Cyan Kicks -"Hurricane"
- BESS -"Ram Pam Pam"
- The Rasmus - "Jezebel"
- Younghearted -"Sun Numero"
- Olivera -“Thank God I’m an Atheist”
- Tommi Läntinen - “Elämä kantaa mua” (Life carries me)
- Isaac Sene – "Kuuma jäbä"
The results will be determined by international juries (25%) and public voting (75%).
