Tonight: Watch the Melodifestivalen 2023 Semi-final heat

  • Sweden's quest for Eurovision 2023 progresses tonight to the semi-final heat of Melodifestivalen determining the last four finalists. 

    “Melodifestivalen 2023” consists of 5 semi-final rounds and the grand final to be held on March 11. A total of 28 acts are taking part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts to compete in each of the first four semi-final rounds. 

    This year's edition of Melodifestivalen kicked off  on February 4 with the first round continued with the second, third and fourth heat the previous three weeks and is ready to hit the screen again this evening with the Semi-final live from Örnsköldsvik .

    A total of 8 acts will take the stage and compete for the last four spots that lead to the final. These 8 acts had cane thrid and fourth in their respective heats and now have a second chanc eto continue their Melfest journey.  Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl are hosting this evening's show.

    Namely the 8  contestants of this evening show are: 

    1.  THEOZ – “Mer av dig” 
    2.  Mariette – “One Day”
    3.  Victor Crone – “Diamonds”
    4.  Tennessee Tears – “Now I Know”
    5. Elov & Beny – “Raggen går” 
    6.  Melanie Wehbe – “For The Show”
    7. Nordman – “Släpp alla sorger” 
    8.  Kiana – “Where Did You Go”

    For this year's edition the semi-final format has been changed and we will see all eight contestants compete against each other with the four most voted acts securing their spot in next week's Grand final show.
