American Song Contest 2022: Hueston from Rhode Island the jury's qualifier in heat one

Hueston representing Rhode Island is the jury's qualifier of the first qualifying heat of the American Song Contest that kicked off last evening.
The American Song Contest which is brought to the audience by Propagate in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group , kicked off last evening with the first qualifying round.
The show is hosted by two of the biggest internationally names in the music industry, with Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg responsible to guide the audience through the live shows.
While the much anticipated competition will consist of qualifying rounds, semifinals and a grand final show, the first set of 11 acts competed in the first heat last night. A total of four qualifiers will pass to the semifinals.
Namely the 11 acts that took the stage in heat one are:
1. Iowa: Alisabeth Von Presley – Wonder
2. Arkansas: Kelsey Lamb – Never Like This
3.Wisconsin: Jake’O – Feel Your Love
4. Wyoming: Ryan Charles – New Boot Goofin
5. Indiana: UG skywalkin – Love In My City
6. Minnesota: Yam Haus – Ready To Go
7. Mississippi: Keyone Starr – Fire
8. Oklahoma: AleXa – Wonderland
9. Puerto Rico: Christian Pagán – LOKO
10. Rhode Island: Hueston – Held On Too Long
11. Connecticut: Michael Bolton - Beautiful World
The results
A jury consisting of 56 members cast its votes in order to select the first qualifier to the semfinals. According to the jury's verdict Hueston representing Rhode Island is the first qualifier that advances to the semifinals.
The rest competing acts will go through a public voting that will run for two days up to Wednesday with three more semifinalists to be determined. However, the rest three qualifiers will be announced each time at the beginning of the next live show.
The American Song Contest will continue next week with the 2nd qualifying round.
