Bulgaria: Victoria releases new track 'alright'

-
Following the ESC 2020 cancellation and the Bulgarian broadcaster's decision to continue with her in Eurovision 2021, Victoria decided not to wait to share new music on the way to the next edition of the contest.
Sharing her thoughts to abitofmusic.com about her new track and how ‘alright.’ was created during a writing camp for Eurovision as she revealed on Twitter, the Bulgarian act stated:
“When we wrote it we were quite tired of it all. Not of the songwriting itself, but of writing under the pressure and everything around Eurovision. We decided to have a little fun and just write something and that was how ‘alright.’ was born. I was so happy when I heard it, because I really wanted to record something different.”
Her ethereal and emotional the same time new single with a subtle and contemporary production has a universal message. Talking about it Vicotoria says:
“The story behind the song is actually very accurate these days while we are dealing with the coronavirus, but we wrote it before all that happened. The main message is that everyone experiences dark times and has inner demons, but that everything is going to be alright in the end. The song is meant as a reminder to be free and strive for happiness. I hope people feel like everything will be fine when they hear it.”
VICTORIA co-wrote ‘alright.’ with Boris Milanov (who also produced the track), Martin Masarov, Sanne Österberg & Cornelia Wiebols.
Along with the song was released the official music video of the track. The video was produced by the team of Four Elementz, who also created the music video for Victoria’s “Tears Getting Sober”, which was the entrant for the 2020 Eurovision before the event was cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The video was shot in the Arena Bourgas hall in Bourgas and at Perla beach in Primorsko on Bulgaria’s southern Black Sea coast.
