Throughout the year our radio runs an online voting during which all listeners can rate and vote for their favorite songs as they listen to them on our airplay. Taking in mind the results of that ongoing online voting and in combination with the hundreds of requests we have had in our inbox of our social media accounts, we came down to the list of the TOP 20 favorite songs of our listeners.

Here is the final TOP 20 Eurovision songs of our listeners in 2022:

    our top 20 listeners

Chanel was the most requested song in 2022 while she received hundres votes on the online voting, leaving behind 2nd  the Eurovision 2021 winners Maneskin from Italy and third last year's favorite act Barbara Pravi from France with 'Voila'

    The Class of '22

Apart from the winner Chanel, in the Top 20 we seven entries from the 2022 contest among which the winners Kalush Orchestra (19), the runner up Sam Ryder with 'Space Man' (No9) and WRS from Romania with 'Llamame' (No 8) and the second most streamed song in Eurovision history,  Rosa Linn's 'Snap' reached No4. The acts from the class of '22 that reached the top 20 were also Sweden Cornelia Jakobs with 'Hold me Closer' (No13) and Ronela Hajati from Albania with 'Secret' (No20) which may not have qualified to the final but was certainly one of our listeners top requested songs.

    Nine Winners

In the 20 most liked songs we see not one not two but nine winners of Eurovision! Besides the '22 winners, Kalush Orchestra at No 19 , we see Greece's victorious entry 'My Number One' by Helena Paparizou at No 17 while one place up is the winner of 1987, Mr Eurovision, Johnny Logan with 'Hold Me Now'. Lenegendary winners of 1974, ABBA, feature the chart at No 15 with 'Waterloo', while places 12 and 11 are occupied by Dana Intenational and her winning 1998 entry 'Diva' and Norway's Secret Garden with Nocturne respectively.

Further on in the first top 10 place we see Loreen at No 8 (Sweden 2012) with Euphoria, at No 6 the winner of 2019, Duncan Laurence with 'Arcade' while Maneskin at No 2 are the higest placed winners of the contest with 'Zitti e Buoni' .

Notably the televoting winners of 2015, Il Volo with 'Grand Amore' are firmly one of the fans most liked songs ( No 10) while runner up of 2018 , Eleni Foureira, is seeing her song 'Fuego' high in our listeners' preference. Remarkable also that Sofia Vossou from the past applies to the audience even of younger generations with 'Anixi' (Greece 1991) placed at 14th place while Efendi from Azerbaijan also seems to be still popular among fans with 'Mata Hari' despite finsihing 20th in Rotterdam.

This were the results for 2022! The year's has gone, 2023 is already unfolding and new entries will be added in the playlist from Liverpool while the online voting continues along with the hundres of requests from our listeners during our daily shows.
