Italy: Måneskin's success story continues as they go strong in charts with additional songs

  • The road of success for the Eurovision 2021 winners,  Måneskin from Italy, seems to be a very long one with numerous achievements on the way. 

    The previous weeks after their Eurovsion victory in Rotterdam, Måneskin have been conquering the charts across Europe and beyond.  Måneskin's song “Zitti e buoni”  debuted at number 26 on the Billboard Global Top 200 chart while recently the song with millions streams in the global spotify charts has become the most streamed Italian track in history. Their winning entry has been charting in high positions accross Europe. 

    But this do not the complete picture of success for the Italian rock band. Addtional songs have entered the charts in major music markets across the continent. Namely, after their winning entry 'Zitti e Buoni'  their song "I wanna be your slave'  has entered the Top 10 in the UK charts peaking at the moment in 6th position. And as if that wasn't already an amazing achievement, one more song has entered the top 10 UK chart, their cover of 'Beggin' by Four Seasons  has made it way in the top 10 spots of the UK charts.   This marks the group’s fifth consecutive week of having at least one song in the UK Top 40.

    Thus, their cover of The Four Seasons classic has now become a top 10 hit in 13 countries. In both the Czech Republic and Germany, the song has reached Number 1. 

     

    Moreover, they also have two tracks in the official Top 3 in Austria at No. 2 and 3 with “ I wanna be your slave” and “Beggin'” respectively. The first of the two songs is currently No. 4 in Germany  and No. 8 in Switzerland. 

     

    Ongoing global success for Måneskin

    Måneskin the rock band from Rome, consisting of members Damiano David (lead vocals), Victoria De Angelis (bass), Thomas Raggi (guitar), and Ethan Torchio (drums) is meeting ongoing success across the globe in local and global charts. Måneskin's song “Zitti e buoni”  debuted at number 26 on the Billboard Global Top 200 chart while recently the song with  millions of streams in the global spotify charts which marked a record position for an Italian track. In Lithuania 7 additional songs of Maneskin feature the country's top 50. 

    Meanwhile the Italian ESC winning entry has achieved remarkable placings in other countries reaching at some point the following positions:

    Måneskin, have broken the record of views for live performances on the Eurovision Youtube Channel as their live performance of  'Zitti e Buoni' has passed 60 million views.
