OGAE: Here are the 28 entries of the OGAE Song Contest 2020

  • For the third year in a row, OGAE United Kingdom is hosting the annual OGAE Song Contest, the competition which is held between the national branches of the Eurovision OGAE International network.

    After its 6th overall prize in last year's competition, thanks to the composition "Someone you loved" by Lewis Capaldi, OGAE UK transfers this year's competition to beautiful Edinburgh. It is worth mentioning that in total, this is the 7th time that OGAE UK undertakes the organization of this competition!

    A total of 28 countries are participating this year - the same as last year - including Greece and Cyprus through their respective OGAE unions. Andorra and Azerbaijan decided not to take part this year, but Denmark and Slovenia took their place. Finally, once again OGAE Rest Of the World is represented by the United States of America!

    OGAE Song Contest entries must be in the official language of each competing country and be part of the domestic discography of the last year. We remind you that the OGAE Song Contest is the first competition of the OGAE International network ever organized, starting in 1986. Its purpose was and is to promote European music throughout the Old Continent and around the world, through the networks of the network. The main criterion of the competition is the audio track, ie the songs themselves, and not any accompanying video clips or the paths of the performers.

     Members of the participating national clubs have time until Ocotber 15, 2020 to cast their votes while the results will be revealed in a date later on.
