  • Luca Hänni the Swiss ESC 2019 act, continues to bring his shining light in the word of music releasing his first German language album titled '110 Karat'.

The winner of the 9th season of Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar (2012) continues to shine bringing us after his latest single 'Diamant'releasing his fifth but first German Language album entitled '110 Karat', although there are also four English bonus tracks at the end (including his Eurovision entry “She Got Me”).

“110 Karat” has turned out to be a perfectly produced pop album with dance and funk influences, which shows the artistic development of Luca Hänni at all times. The album conveys a mixture feelings , sometimes melancholic emotions and turn to an entertaining mode, between pop, funk, electro and dance.

"Diamant" for example is a Latin-infected pop song that made it into the Top 100 of the official Swiss charts. On the other hand “Nebenbei“ is a very personal and melancholy song that deals with the importance of people who help you through rocky and difficult times and give you new courage. In the album we find the pop anthem “Zurück Zu Mir“( Back to Me)  along with the “Ich Frag Mich Immer Wieder“  (“I ask myself again and again”) confirming that variety and switching from upbeat to melancholic tender melodies.

Adding in the songs “Wir Bleiben Wach“ (“We Stay Awake” ), “All In“ and the melodious “Dieser Moment“  (“This Moment") which is about enjoying the present moment and living here and now, this album showcases how Luca has artistically dveloped and grown as an artist since his first album.
