Tonight: Festival da Canção 2022 continues in Portugal with the 2nd Semi-final

• The Portuguese national selection continues this evening with the second semi-final of  Festival da Canção 2022 taking place in Lisbon, Portugal.

  Portugal is using once again its tradional national selection format of Festival da Canção which is running for its 56th edition. A total of 20 composers are behind the competing entries of Festival da Canção 2022. From those 16 were invited directly by RTP while the rest four were selected by the public submissions.

  Following Saturday's 1st semi final show will take place in RTP studios in Lisbon and  will be hosted by Sónia Araújo and Jorge Gabriel.

  A total of 10 acts will compete in the second semi final heat in the following running order: 

  • Os Azeitonas – “Solta a Voz e Canta” (Raise your voice and sing)
  • Cubita –“Uma Mensagem Tua” (A message from you)
  • Inês Homem de Melo –“Fome de Viagem” 
  • Syro – “Ainda nos Temos” (We still have)
  • Pepperoni Passion – “Códgio 30” (Code 30) 
  • Milhanas – “Corpo de Mulher” (Body of a woman)
  • O Vampiro Submarino – “Ao Lado de Mim” (By my side)
  • Jonas – “Ponas Soltas” (Loose ends)
  • Blacci –“Mar No Fim” (Sea at the end)
  • Pongo e Tristany – “DÉGRÁ.DÊ” (DEGRADED)

   

  Out of the 10 competing acts five of them will secure a spot in the Grand final set to take place on March 12.
