Tonight: Watch Six Grand finals and one semi-final selection show for Eurovision 2022 take place

A total of seven national selection shows are taking place this evening, six Grand final shows and one semi-fina round across Europe.
Six Grand final shows will be selecting six more Eurovision 2022 representatives this evening, while one semi-show is taking place. Namely, Norway, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta, Poland and San Marino will be determining their Eurovision 2022 representatives while Melodifestivalen continues with the 3rd semi final heat in Sweden.
Lets go an see each event one by one:
Norway – Melodi Grand Prix – Final (19:55 CET)

Norway is holding this evening the Grand final show of Melodi Granf Prix which is the format used to determine the country's Eurovision hopeful.
After four semi-final rounds and a second chance heat Melodi Grand Prix will conclude with the final show that will select Norway's Eurovision 2022 representative. The show is taking place at H3 Arena in Fornebu and a live audience will attend the show. Hosts of show will be once again Kåre Magnus Bergh accompanied by Annika Momrak and Mikkel Niva.
A total of 10 finalists will be competing tonight, the five pre-qualified acts and the five qualifiers from the semifinals stage form the final line-up.
The 10 acts will perform on stage in the following running order:

Anna-Lisa Kumoji – Queen Bees
Farida –Dangerous
Sofie Fjellvang – Made Of Glass

The final outcome will be determined through three round of voting. During the first round the public will select four acts that will move on to the next round of voting. In the second phase out of the four acts, two of them selected by the public voting to go into a final Gold round.
In the Gold the Norwegian public will vote for the one to represent Norway in Turin. The results will be unveiled by regional spokespersons from across the country.

Poland – Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hity na Eurowizje – Final (20:00 CET)

Poland is holding this evening the national final "Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hity na Eurowizje" in order to determine their hopeful for Eurovision 2022 in Turin.
Change of direction for TVP, who this year have switched to a national final for Eurovision 2022 representative. Last time this happened was in 2020 when Alicja and her song “Empires” were selected through the televised show “Szansa na Sukces".
The show will be hosted by last year's representative Rafał Brzozowski and will see a total of 10 acts competing on stage for the right to represent Poland at Eurovision 2022.
The 10 contestants will appear in stage in the following running order:

- Ania Byrcyn – “Dokąd“
- Siostry Szlachta – “Drogowskazy”
- Lidia Kopania – “Why Does It Hurt?”
- Karolina Stanisławczyk & Toro Chica – “Move”

- Daria – “Paranoia”
The outcome of the show will be determined by the contribution of public and jury voting. The public and jury will vote for the three acts to qualify to the Superfinal round. In the Superfinal round the public vote exclusively will determine the final winner and the one to represent Poland in Turin. The members of the jury which will infuence the results in the first round are:

- Marcin Kusy – Forme juror in the 2016 selection
- Szymon Orłowski – President of LOFT ART Association of Art and Culture promotion

In addition several guest stars will feature the show. namely Ell & Nikki the winners of Eurovision 2011, Justyna Steczkowska (Poland 1995) , Blue Café (Poland 2004), Viki Gabor (Polish JESC 2019 winner), Sarah James (JESC 2021 runner up for Poland) Kasia Mos (Poland 2017) and Rafał Brzozowski (Represented Poland 2021) will treat the audience with their performances.

Sweden- Melodifestivalen 2022 Third Semi final (20:00 CET)

Sweden’s quest for its Eurovision 2022 representative continues this Saturday with the third semi-final of “Melodifestivalen 2022”.
“Melodifestivalen 2022” consists of 5 semi-final rounds and the grand final to be held on March 12. A total of 28 acts take part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts to compete in each of the first four semi-final rounds.
In tonight's third heat which will take place in Stockholm we will see competing the following 7 acts:
1.Cazzi Opeia – I Can´t Get Enough
2.Lancelot – Lyckligt slut
3.Lisa Miskovsky – Best to Come
4.Tribe Friday – Shut Me Up
5.Faith Kakembo – Freedom

The first two acts with the highest points will advance to the Grand final on March 12 , while the third and fourth act will have a second chance in the Second Chance semi final round set to take place on March 5. SVT also has issued some changes to the voting format in this year's edition.
SVT decdided to scrap the the Melfest tour which would have seen the comeptition tour across Sweden in several cities, due to the rise of covid-19 cases. Therefore, all six shows will take place in Stockholm. The firth heat today will be hosted by Oscar Zia.

Croatia - Dora 2022 - Final ( 20:10 CET)

Croatia is holding tonight its national final for Eurovision 2022, Dora 2022, the traditional format used by HRT to determine the country's Eurovision entries.
The national final will take place in Opatija City and will be hosted by the trio, Duško Ćurlić, Elizabeta Brodić and Franka Batelić. A total of 14 acts will compete in the national final which were shortlisted out of 184 submissions by a jury consisting of representatives of HRT (Željko Mesar, Robert Urlić and Zlatko Turkalj), the Croatian Society of Composers (Aljoša Šerić) and the Croatian Music Union (Antonela Doko).
The 14 acts to take the stage this evening are:

The Voting & Results
The outcome of the national final will be determined by a combination of public voting and regional jury voting, contributing 50% each to the result. In case of a tie the acts that tops the public voting will be the final winner.
The jury voting will include the points from 10 regional juries which are:
- Zagreb
- Čakovec and Varaždin
- Rijeka
- Pula
- Osijek
- Zadar
- Knin and Šibenik
- Split
- Dubrovnik
- Vukovar
Each of these juries is formed by three members; one HRT employee (realted to music editing or a music journalist), one member of Croatian Composers’ Association and one member of the Croatian Music Union . Each member of the regional jury will rank the songs from 1st to 14th place during the dress rehearsal set to take place on February 18, one day before the live national final. All rankings will be added up with the first ten acts to be awarded with points according to the ESC voting scale (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12). With each regional awarding up to 58 points the total amount of jury votes at stake is 580.
The public can contribute in the result by casting their vote through phone calls to 065 22 44 (+number of their favorite act) or an sms to 60006 (Dora 2022+number of favorite act). Televoters can vote for the same act up to 10 times, while the whole puclic voting will durate 10 minutes.
A total of 580 points are at stake in the public voting with the points awarded to each competing act in accordance with the percentage of votes received.

Slovenia - EMA 2022 - Final ( 20:20 CET)

Slovenia is holding this evening the final of EMA 2022, the show that tradionally selects the Slovenian Eurovision acts and entries.
After two semi-final rounds in which six acts qualified from each semi-final, a total of 12 contestants will compete in this evening's fina. Melani Mekicar and Bojan Cvjetićanin will have the honor to host EMA 2022.
The 12 acts to take the stage tonight are:

- Radio and Television personalities
- Music performers
- International artists

Malta - Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022 - Final (21:00 CET)

Malta is holding this evening the final show of 'Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022' the selection show PBS opted for in order to determine the ESC 2022 hopeful.
PBS is selecting their Eurovision 2022 hopeful via the national final 'Malta Eurovision Song Contest', which successes the X-factor show which was used to select the country's representative since 2019.
The national selection included one semi final round and a Grand final show. A total of 22 acts competed in the semifinal with 16 contestants securing a spot the Grand final show. Additionally one wildcard act was selected through public voting to join the final line up, with Jessica Muscat winning that spot.
Thus the 17 acts to compete in tonight's national final are:

San Marino - Una Voce per San Marino - Final (21:00 CET)

The grand final of "Una Voce San Marino', the show SMRTV is using to select their Eurovision 2022 hopeful, is taking place this evening concluding the Sammarinese national selection.
For 2022, SMRTV has switched to a national final holding "Una voce per San Marino" in order to determine the next Eurovision representative. The participating artists of this year's selection are divided in two major categories: Emerging Acts and Big Acts. Nine Emerging acts and ten Big acts will make up the line up of the Grand final which will take place on February 19 2022 in the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana.
After several days of castings, 66 acts, six from San Marino and sixty from abroad, have been shortlisted to move on to the semifinals stage in the Emerging acts category, the second semi final of which took place last evening.
Following the first , second , third , a fourth semi final heat and one second chance round, a total of 19 acts were set to compete in this evening's final show but after Blind's withdrawal due to health issues, 18 acts will compete in the final show of 'Una Voce per San Marino'.
The show will be hosted by last year's representative Senhit along with Jonathan Kashanian.
