  • The British broadcaster, BBC, revealed the results of the voting for Britain's all time favorite Eurovision entry during the show "Eurovision:Come Together" . The legendary group of ABBA (Swedish 1974), were crowned winners of the voting with their timelessness entry "Waterloo"

The Uk's national broadcaster withing its alternative Eurovision program broadcasted the special show Eurovision: Come Together during which the results of  a voting held , through the BBC website , were to be unveiled for the country's favourite all time ESC entry . A panel of music experts formed by the radio producer Ken Bruce, the semi finals commentators Rylan Clark – Neal & Scott Mills, the former UK representatives  SuRie and Nicki French and the well known fans of BBC radio 1 Mel Giedroyc amd Adele Roberts  made a selective list with some of the past ESC participants  from which the audience had to choose its favorite.

Once the votes had been counted the outcome of the voting saw ABBA and their 1974 entry top the scoreboard, followed by Conchita Wurst with Rise Like A Phoenix (Austria 2014) and Loreen with Euphoria (Sweden 2012) closing the top 3.

This is how the overall top 10 looked like with all the votes counted:

    1.  ABBA – Waterloo (Sweden 1974)
    2. Conchita Wurst – Rise Like A Phoenix (Austria 2014)
    3. Loreen – Euphoria (Sweden 2012)
    4. Katrina & The Waves – Love Shine A Light (United Kingdom 1997)
    5. Måns Zelmerlöw – Heroes (Sweden 2015)
    6. Alexander Rybak – Fairytale (Norway 2009)
    7. Verka Serduchka – Dancing Lasha Tumbai (Ukraine 2007)
    8. Bucks Fizz – Making Your Mind Up (United Kingdom 1981)
    9. Brotherhood of Man – Save Your Kisses For Me (United Kingdom 1976)
    10. Gina G – Ooh… Aah… Just A Little Bit (United Kingdom 1996)

Notable the fact that several of the most recent ESC entries failed to enter  the top 10, such as Mahmood's Soldi (Italy 2019), Eleni Foureira's Fuego (Cyprus 2018) and Netta's winning entry (Israel 2018).

According to BBC more than 2.3 million viewers watched the show without revealing though the voting figures.
