  • The Finnish broadcaster, YLE, has released Ilta's UMK 2021 entry  'Kelle mä soitan', the last of the seven acts to compete in the upcoming national final for Eurovision 2021.

The relaease of this year's national final entries concludes with the seventh participating song, 'Kelle mä soitan' (Who will i call)  performed by Ilta

Ilta has composed, lyricized and arranged the song together with Väinö Wallenius , who has written songs for Saint and Mariska among others.  Singer-songwriter and producer Jouni Aslak , who competed at the UMK in 2015, was also involved in making the lyrics .

Ilta's entry is a touching song  which tells about loneliness. The paragraph describes very concretely when loneliness strikes and how it feels. Ilta says on her song:

"A person may be in the middle of a crowd and still feel really lonely. It is one of the most difficult feelings because we have been connected to each other. I hope the song can bring security or support to where everyone is listening to this, together or alone. Even if the song doesn't say directly that you will survive, it can still give the listener the feeling that he or she is not alone with this thing."
